VT1 moest vroegtijdig worden afgevlagd en Carlos Sainz liep enorm veel schade op. Frédéric Vasseur is kwaad op de Formule 1. De tweede trainingssessie is ook nog eens uitgesteld. Daarnaast reageert een promotor van de wedstrijd in de gokstad op kritiek van Max Verstappen.
